Get Involved with Chorley Rangers

Our Rangers are looking for dedicated volunteers to join their team!

By volunteering, you can:

  • Help our rangers to protect and preserve wildlife across Chorley
  • Assist with the removal of invasive plant species across parks and nature reserves in Chorley
  • Help with routine maintenance and repairs at ranger-managed sites and other green spaces
  • Work as part of a dedicated team, helping to deliver green space improvement projects and community engagement.

Our rangers are looking for someone that…

  • Has the ability to help with a variety of maintenance tasks
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Holds a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
  • Able to interact with the public and volunteers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Understands environmental conservation & knowledge of local flora and fauna.
