Chorley Rangers

Our Rangers are looking for dedicated volunteers to join their team!

By volunteering you can

  • help our rangers to protect and preserve wildlife across Chorley
  • assist with the removal of invasive plant species across parks and nature reserves in Chorley
  • help with routine maintenance and repairs at ranger managed sites and other greenspaces
  • work as part of a dedicated team, helping to deliver greenspace improvement projects and community engagement.

Our rangers are looking for someone that…

  • has the ability to help with a variety of maintenance tasks
  • comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • holds a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
  • able to interact with the public and volunteers in a friendly and professional manner
  • understands environmental conservation & knowledge of local flora and fauna.
